Stop Being Wishy Washy And Just Do It

IWhat if you reach out, try to make a sale and they say no?

Stop being wishy-washy and just do it!

Here’s something to remember about sales. Some will, some won’t. So what? Just move on to the next person and don’t take it personally.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

When you don’t care whether people say no, it takes away your ego from the sales process.

Besides, if you can find a genuine belief in yourself, your product and your services, you won’t need to fret about some people saying no. If you know you’re offering real value, you’ll know there’ll be some people who’ll say yes.

Tom Beal was the number 1 representative in 5 separate sales organizations or network marketing companies. But this only occurred when he had full belief in himself, product and service.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO GET IT PERFECT

Microsoft is not perfect. It has experienced problems all the time and still does. That didn’t stop Bill Gates from becoming the richest person on the planet.

On the other hand, if he had waited to get things perfect, nothing would have ever gotten released and he definitely would not have become the richest person on the planet.

You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going. Accept that it won’t be perfect.

Don’t compare yourself to others, just yourself. Accept that your sales performance won’t be as smooth as the more experienced people, and your product won’t be as good as the more established ones in the market.

Maybe one day it will be. But not if you stay wishy-washy and never get anything launched.

COULD YOU DO A BACKFLIP ON YOUR FIRST TRY?

Do you think Omar could do a backflip the first time he ever tried? Of course not. Only after a lot of practice is he now able to nail it every time.

When you first start, you’re not going to be as good as you will one day be.

That’s not a reason to never start. It’s a reason to do the best you can today, and to keep bettering your best over time. You won’t do backflips in your business on your first day, but after years of practice, you will.

But if you don’t start, if you’re not accepting of imperfection, and you’re not willing to embarrass yourself, you’ll never do backflips in your business.
